Yesan Apple Festival

The 23rd Yesan Apple Festival is planned to feature varied apple-themed experiences that people of all ages can enjoy, alongside the spectacular Yedangho Suspension Bridge, which boasts the largest scale in the country. By using the Yedangho Suspension Bridge as a local tourism resource and selecting it as this year’s venue, the festival is planned to promote Yesan apples and local landmarks together during the festival through connections with tourism facilities around Yedangho, beginning with the region’s symbolic Yedangho Observatory. With apple wine, apple desserts, and a collaboration of jazz, traditional Korean music, and classical music, the festival will be held under the theme “A Sweet Day at Yedangho” to introduce visitors to the taste and excellence of Yesan apples. Among its programs, the “Yesan Apple Sale Festa” will be a discount marketplace involving Yesan apple growers and operated by the Yedang Apple Horticultural Agricultural Cooperative. Held for only two days during the festival, it will be a signature program where visitors can find high-quality Yesan apples at affordable prices.
