Gangdong Seonsa Culture Festival
*The festival information below reflects the previous year's (2025) festival, and the 2026 festival details are currently being updated.* Now in its 30th edition, the Gangdong Seonsa Culture Festival is the only festival among Seoul's festivals themed on prehistoric times. It highlights the historical value of prehistoric remains while offering a variety of programs where visitors can experience the lives of prehistoric people. This year, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the Seoul Amsa-dong ruins, it will be organized around separate spaces themed on the four elements of water, fire, earth, and wind, under the theme 'The Breath of 6000 Years, the Light of 100 Years, the Resonance of 30 Years.' Each space will fill the 3 days of the festival with production suited to the characteristics of the theme, diverse exhibitions, hands-on experiences, night programs, delicious food, and a variety of performances, offering visitors a special kind of enjoyment that moves between the past and the present.
