Boeun Jujube Festival

Marking its 20th anniversary this year, the Boeun Jujube Festival is Korea’s representative agricultural and specialty products festival where visitors can see premium Boeun jujubes, Boeun’s representative specialty, and agricultural specialty products produced in clean natural surroundings all in one place. The 2025 Boeun Jujube Festival was recognized for its excellent operation and selected as the top festival among the 2026 Chungcheongbuk-do designated festivals, and it has also been recognized for its nationwide competitiveness, having been selected as the top festival for revitalizing sales of agricultural specialty products in Chungcheongbuk-do for the third consecutive time following 2017. It also promotes the history and excellent quality of Boeun jujubes, which were once presented to the king, and has established itself as Boeun’s representative festival. During the festival period, a jujube and agricultural specialty products market, an online marketplace, and a fresh jujube order call center are operated so that people anywhere in the country can conveniently purchase Boeun agricultural specialty products. In addition, various cultural and artistic performances and hands-on programs including the opening and closing ceremonies provide visitors with abundant things to see and enjoy, and the festival is designed so that everyone from families to people of all ages can fully enjoy Boeun’s autumn atmosphere. Along with this, through a variety of programs linked to agriculture, culture, and tourism, the festival plans to widely promote the excellence of local agricultural specialty products, attract tourists, and revitalize the local economy while also raising the value of Boeun’s autumn tourism brand.
