Gimcheon Grape Festival

The 2026 Gimcheon Grape Festival is Korea's representative summer fruit festival and a multi-purpose tourism festival where various experiences and culture come together around grapes, a specialty of Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk. It will be held from 8 14 to 16, and it will be newly operated as a stay-type festival that combines experiences, relaxation, and gastronomy, moving away from the existing focus on simple exhibitions and sales. In particular, a direct trade market where visitors can taste and purchase high-quality Gimcheon grapes, including Shine Muscat, as well as grape desserts, wine, and experience programs, will be prepared so that anyone can enjoy it. In addition, various contents such as grape harvesting experiences, children's experience zones, performances, and nighttime programs are receiving a strong response from family tourists. The 2026 festival will be organized to be comfortable even in midsummer by strengthening water play facilities, cool zones, and nighttime content in response to climate change, and it will be expanded into an integrated fruit festival that also showcases regional representative fruits such as plums and peaches.
