*The festival contents below are based on last year's (2025) festival contents, and the 2026 festival contents are currently being updated.* The Gimcheon Gimbap Festival is a local cultural tourism festival held in Gimcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Gimbap is not Gimcheon's representative specialty product, but the event was planned based on the city's symbolic image of "Gimbap Heaven Gimcheon." The festival is operated around experience, exhibitions, performances, and play content centered on gimbap so that Gimcheon citizens and tourists can enjoy it together. There are hands-on programs where visitors can make and taste gimbap themselves, and performance and experience zones are created for participants of various generations.
