*The food and drink information for this festival below is based on last year's (2025) festival contents, and the 2026 festival contents are currently being updated.* The Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, held in Geumsan, South Chungcheong Province, the birthplace of ginseng with a history of over 1,500 years, offers a wide range of experiences and attractions for all ages, such as ginseng harvesting, red ginseng pack massage, red ginseng foot baths, the International Ginseng Trade Fair, and traditional ginseng culture experiences, while enhancing visitor satisfaction with bargain shopping, and visitors can also taste health foods made with ginseng and medicinal herbs throughout the venue. Held every year since 1981, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival has built up a long-standing reputation as a leading industrial festival in Korea, having been selected as one of the country's top 10 festivals by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism 10 times and named an Asia Specialty Festival by the World Festival Association (IFEA World) in 2024, and it is evolving into a global festival with people from around the world.
