The 11th Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival
The Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival is a film festival that shines a light on nature and human life through mountain films. It is characterized by portraying the many ways human beings live together with nature, including hardship and overcoming, challenge and failure, and conflict and coexistence, and by drawing deep reflection on life through that process. It strengthens the identity of the festival through programs and operating methods that actively reflect the unique geographic background and natural environment of Yeongnam Alps, and it functions as a place of exchange where mountaineers, filmmakers, and audiences come together beyond being merely a venue for film screenings. It also introduces a wide range of domestic and international mountain films and documentaries, and continues to discover and screen films that expand the boundaries of genre and format, adding depth to the festival each year through works with fresh perspectives.
