Wanju Wild & Local Food Festival

The Wanju Wild & Local Food Festival, the representative festival of Wanju County, is a festival that people of all ages can enjoy, where they can experience WILD and unusual activities they would not encounter in everyday life amid Wanju's pristine nature, and meet healthy LOCAL FOOD as a center for local food. The 2026 festival, under the slogan "Blazing Rough Wilderness," features flaming oven-grilled dishes, local bushcraft, potato steamed-in-a-hole cooking, and a large fire-themed event as its representative programs. In addition, visitors can experience autumn memories and nostalgia, escape and healing all at once through natural wild playgrounds such as the Sirangcheon water play area and the wheat-straw slide, local rice tables prepared with care by women’s association chefs from 13 eup, myeon, and a direct market for agricultural and specialty products, as well as the Wild Wafoo EDM music party.
