Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe Regular Performance “Gombaengi Teotda”

The regular performance by the Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe has been one of Anseong City's signature cultural attractions since 2003. Presented by the Anseong Municipal Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe, which represents the city, the 2026 regular performance “Gombaengi Teotda,” subtitled “The Excitement of the Marketplace Sets Gyeongbokgung Palace Abuzz!,” reimagines the 6 acts at the heart of Namsadang Nori with a contemporary sensibility. The performance takes place for about 90 minutes at 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday at the Anseong Namsadang Performance Hall. It offers a wide variety of sights, including lively pungmul music featuring instruments such as the taepyeongso and kkwaenggwari; eoreum, or tightrope walking, with thrilling feats and witty banter on a rope 3m above the ground; beona, which involves spinning bowls; and salpan ground acrobatics.
