Against the backdrop of a sea road that splits for about 1.5km, the “sea road torch experience” is held, making this Boryeong’s representative marine festival where visitors can feel the mystery of the sea while walking across the tidal flats. Along with the experience of walking on the tidal flats timed to the sea parting, a variety of cultural programs are operated. During the day, there are family-participation experiences such as a courtyard theater performance enjoyed together by visitors and catching fish by hand, where participants catch fish directly with their bare hands. At night, the festival’s highlight, the “Sea Road LED Torch Experience,” unfolds along with spectacular performances, creating a stunning scene that lights up the night sea. It is a festival where the mystery of a natural phenomenon and diverse marine cultural experiences can be enjoyed in one place.
