In 2026, the Bucheon International Comics Festival, marking its 29th edition, is Korea's leading cultural tourism festival dedicated to comics, open to anyone who loves comics. This year, under the theme “Comics and webtoons are easy to enjoy,” it is a festival where visitors can enjoy a rich selection of comics content programs and cultural experiences designed to increase satisfaction through abundant entertainment. It is a festival ground where visitors can experience curated and special exhibitions, the author-meeting program for comics enthusiasts, the playground and outdoor market booths that offer a variety of hands-on activities, and even the International Cosplay Championship, in which cosplayers from 14 countries around the world participate.
