Jeongseon Arirang Festival

It promotes the value of Arirang, listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, and operates as a festival that all generations can enjoy together through diverse content such as performances, parades, experience programs, exhibitions, and cultural and artistic events that harmonize tradition and modernity. It also aims to be a resident-participatory festival in which local residents directly take part in planning and operation, and through programs linked with the area's cultural and tourism resources, it contributes to revitalizing the local economy and attracting visitors. Based on the cultural value of Arirang and Jeongseon's unique traditions, it seeks to establish itself as Korea's representative Arirang cultural festival and develop into a global cultural tourism festival that resonates with people around the world.
