Grand Alien Festival

The 7th Grand Alien Festival is a signature family-oriented experiential festival presented by the Miryang Arirang Space Observatory, Korea's only observatory specializing in extraterrestrial life. It is Miryang's science and culture festival, designed around space and aliens for children and parents to enjoy together. This year's festival is held along the Miryanggang riverside near Yeongnamnu Pavilion under the concept of an “Alien Sports Day.” Going beyond the previous spectator-centered format, it is organized as a participatory festival where families can run, experience activities, and have fun together, with hands-on content for the whole family such as Meteor Run, laser tag, and a costume contest. Space and science content is added to combine the enjoyment of play with educational meaning. Content related to the Miryang Arirang Space Observatory further blends the fun of play with educational meaning, allowing families and friends to step away from daily life and make distinctive, enjoyable memories at this science and culture festival.
