Busan Fireworks Festival

November 7, 2026 – November 7, 2026219 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan (Gwangan-dong)

The Busan Fireworks Festival is one of South Korea’s leading marine multimedia fireworks festivals, staged around Gwangalli Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge. First held as a celebratory fireworks show commemorating the 2005 APEC summit, it marks its 21st anniversary this year and is one of Busan’s signature autumn cultural events. The festival uses Gwangandaegyo Bridge’s special lighting and large-scale production systems to present a massive marine multimedia show combining music and fireworks. Through original production techniques that utilize the geographical characteristics of Gwangalli’s night sea and large-scale fireworks launches, it has established itself as a global festival visited by numerous spectators from Korea and abroad each year. This year’s 21st edition is expected to decorate Busan’s night sky with more sophisticated storytelling and marine fireworks displays.
