Geumjeongsanseong Fortress Festival

The 2026 Geumjeongsanseong Fortress Festival, which captures the value of Geumjeongsan newly designated as a national park in 2026, will be held for three days from Friday, 10 16 to Sunday, 10 18 at Geumjeongsanseong Plaza and throughout the Geumjeongsanseong area. It is a history, culture, and arts festival based on Geumjeongsanseong Fortress, the representative cultural heritage of Geumjeong-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, and Geumjeongsan Mountain, the largest mountain fortress in Korea and now a national park, and it is held every year to commemorate the construction of Geumjeongsanseong Fortress. Continuing from the Geumjeong Arts Festival that began in 1996, this year's Geumjeongsanseong Fortress Festival presents new charms of Geumjeong through a variety of programs that bring together the ecology and nature of Geumjeongsan National Park and the history and culture of Geumjeongsanseong Fortress.
