Andong International Mask Dance Festival

*The festival food information below is from the previous year's (2025) festival, and the information for the 2026 festival is currently being updated.*The Andong International Mask Dance Festival is a global festival where people become one through the memory of masks and a dance shared by all. Visitors can experience and enjoy both Korean mask dances inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and mask dances from countries around the world at the festival grounds. It will also provide a place for people to come together through diverse performances, parades, the Daedong Nanjang communal celebration, and the World Mask Play Competition. Andong International Mask Dance Festival 2026 seeks to connect the time preserved by masks with life in the present. In moments when everyone—from children to older adults and from local residents to visitors from around the world—laughs, applauds, and shares a rhythm in the same space, the memories carried by masks become a living culture. This festival is the “Dance for All,” completed as those connected hearts gather together, and will be a place that demonstrates the power of a community that shines even more brightly when people come together.
