Ansan Daebudo Grape Festival
The Ansan Daebudo Grape Festival is a representative festival of Ansan held every September in the autumn season to promote the excellence of Daebudo grapes, which are high in sweetness and rich in aroma thanks to the abundant sea breeze and fertile soil of the west coast. It began in 1995 and has continued for a long history, and it has established itself as a sensory festival that anyone, young or old, can participate in and enjoy beyond simply selling agricultural products. At the venue, Daebuhyanggi Theme Park, a direct trade market is held where fresh, high-quality grapes can be purchased at reasonable prices without middleman margins. Another essential highlight is the grape-stomping experience, where visitors can step on grapes themselves to lively music. In addition, a variety of linked events such as congratulatory performances, the Daebu Haesolgil walking festival, and the Ansan Marathon, along with abundant food, create memories of being immersed in and enjoying Daebu.
