Gamaksan Flower and Star Journey

The 6th Gamaksan Flower and Star Journey is a representative autumn festival held from September 18, 2026 to October 11, 2026 in the area of Byeolbaram Hill at the summit of Gamaksan in Sinyuan-myeon, Geochang-gun. This year's theme is 'One purple comma for myself,' and the atmosphere of autumn and the natural scenery of Gamaksan come together with a variety of performances, experiences, and food. The festival officially begins with an opening event on September 18, featuring a pre-ceremony performance, an opening performance, and a tour of the gujeolcho area. During the festival period, visitors are welcomed by a wide range of stage programs such as busking performances, a sunset-hill concert, a congratulatory performance by the Geochang Music Friends Association, and a magic show for children. The experience programs are also abundant. Visitors can receive souvenirs through photo zones installed throughout the venue, stamp tours, and SNS certification events. A slow mailbox is installed at Byeolbaram Hill, allowing people to write letters and receive them before next year's event, offering many things to see. Food is also a major delight of the festival. At the Flower and Star Market, where local farms and businesses participate, visitors can find Geochang specialty products and processed goods. In addition, the food market operated by the women's associations of Namsang-myeon and Sinyuan-myeon offers hearty meals such as bibimbap, gukbap, jeon, and tofu with kimchi at affordable prices, while the food truck zone serves simple snacks such as coffee, sikhye, and hot dogs. Also, for the 6th Gamaksan Flower and Star Journey this year, visitors can use a shuttle bus if they do not come by private car, and if they do use a private car, they should refer to the website and make a reservation in advance before visiting.
