Wanju Sanggwan Waterful Party

Sanggwan Waterful Party is a stay-type tourism festival operated by linking local tourism resources in Sanggwan-myeon, Wanju-gun, such as water, forests, hot springs, lodging, and food. It is an event planned to promote Sanggwan-myeon not as a simple pass-through destination but as a place where visitors can stay and enjoy themselves, while experiencing its diverse tourism resources and spaces together. The main programs consist of the Sanggwan Waterful Party centered on water play and the Sanggwan Night Market where local foods can be enjoyed. Along with this, the festival also operates "Sanggwan Forest-tivity," an experience program that uses natural resources such as cypress forests; "Sanggwan-i Walking," a trekking program that lets participants walk through local forests and villages; and "Sanggwan ZIP," a stay program linked with local lodging facilities. By connecting daytime water play and forest experiences with nighttime food and lodging, the festival is designed so visitors can comprehensively experience Sanggwan-myeon's natural, tourism, and everyday-life resources.
