Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival

The 22nd Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival is a representative stay-oriented tourism festival in Korea, held for 5 days from October 7 to 11, 2026 at the Seomgang riverside area in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The festival is operated under the theme of 'A lingering autumn, a city of shining flavor!' with the slogan 'Delicious, Stay, Shine.' Its purpose is to promote the excellence and brand competitiveness of Hoengseong Hanwoo nationwide and to revitalize the local economy, and it is hosted and organized by the Hoengseong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The festival consists of 3 themes, food, culture and arts, and hands-on experiences, with 14 programs in total. It is operated as a time-extended festival that increases stay time by linking daytime programs from 10:00 to 18:00 with nighttime programs from 18:00 to 21:00, and it is a mutually beneficial festival in which local merchants, farms, and residents all participate.
