Siheung Gaetgol Festival

*The food content for the festival below is from the previous year (2025), and the 2026 festival content is being updated.* Siheung Gaetgol Festival is an ecological festival held at Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park, located in the only inner-bay tidal flat in Gyeonggi-do, and it is a festival that harmonizes with nature through a variety of programs that let visitors rest, learn, and enjoy nature based on the natural environment where the former salt fields and wetlands meet. To protect the ecological park's natural environment, the festival is held as a car-free festival. Its representative program is the salt-pan performance “Memory of Salt, Dance of Water,” and performances such as Concert in Gaetgol, Salt Warehouse Puppet Theater, Woodland Music Festival, and Gaetgol Senior Runway are scheduled. In addition, a variety of attractions are planned, including a fantasy hot-air balloon experience, Gaetgol Expedition, Salt Play and Barefoot Salt Road, a SEA POOL party, jumping insect experiences, Gaetgol as my playground for one day, salt-field experiences, the Slow Post Office, the “Walk Siheung” walking festival, the Siheung Salt Field Salt Festival, the Street Arts Festival, the Gaetgol National Art Competition, the Gaetgol Memory Photo Studio, and the Gaetgol stamp rally.
