Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour

Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour is a nighttime exploration program that tours the northern area of Gyeongbokgung Palace and lets visitors experience court cuisine and traditional culture. With expert commentary, visitors move through various parts of the palace to look at the daily life of the Joseon royal family and the historical stories tied to Gyeongbokgung, and at Oesojubang, the palace kitchen, they can encounter a special 12 side-dish meal, reinterpreted in a modern way from the Joseon royal surasang, in a dosik form. This year, a special changgeuk performance featuring the king’s story will be presented at Jibokjae, the study of King Gojong, offering a distinctive experience where the history of the space and the performance come together. Then, while looking at the starlight reflected in Hyangwonji, visitors can enjoy a mood different from daytime within the calm scenery of Gyeongbokgung.
