Geoje Summer Marine Festival

Held at the blue waters of Jiseopo Port, this is a participatory marine festival for the whole family to enjoy together. Organized and hosted by the Geoje Marine Tourism Development Corporation and supported by Geoje City, it is a representative summer festival of Geoje, featuring citizen-participation water-play content such as a large Water World including an infant pool, the Ocean Gun Festa, the Paper Boat Shipyard Contest, and the Ocean Dream Team, as well as marine leisure experiences like yachting, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Main programs include the opening event and Ocean Music Wave, while side events include Food Festa, a children’s playground, a local coexistence play zone, and the Ocean Horror Parade, offering a wide range of programs for all ages to enjoy together.

Tongyeong Hansan Battle Festival

*The food content at the festival site below reflects the previous year's (2025) festival content, and the 2026 festival content is currently being updated.* The 65th Tongyeong Hansan Battle Festival is a representative Korean patriotic and historical-cultural festival held to commemorate the victory in the Battle of Hansan, one of the three major victories of the Imjin War, and to reflect on the patriotism and leadership of Admiral Yi Sun-sin. The festival takes place around the anniversary of the victory, the 7th day of the 7th lunar month (August 14 on the solar calendar), in the Tongyeong area, and is composed of programs that allow visitors to vividly experience the historical story, such as the reenactment of the Battle of Hansan, the procession of the Samdo Naval Commander, the departure ceremony, and the victory celebration arrival ceremony. In addition, it has established itself as a festival that anyone of any age can participate in by operating content that various generations can enjoy together, such as traditional culture experiences, performances, exhibitions, marine sports, media content, and nighttime programs. Based on Tongyeong's beautiful sea and historical and cultural resources, it provides a special festival experience where tradition and modernity come together, and aims to leap forward as a global patriotic and historical reenactment festival representing the Republic of Korea.

Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo

The Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo is a dinosaur-themed festival held at Danghangpo Tourist Site in Hwahae-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, Republic of Korea. Goseong-gun is widely known as the original source of one of the world's three major dinosaur footprint fossil sites, and the expo has been held since 2006 to promote the value of the large and small dinosaur fossils discovered in various places and to promote the tourism industry. The venue, Danghangpo Tourist Site, consists of a dinosaur theme zone and an Admiral Yi Sun-sin theme zone, and features outdoor theme parks such as a coastal walking trail, hiking trails, and dinosaur footprint exploration paths. The event is hosted by Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and as of 2026, the Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo is operated by the Goseong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The 2026 expo marks its 10th edition and 20th anniversary and will be held under the theme 'An Exciting Adventure with Dinosaurs.' In addition, through diverse exhibitions, hands-on programs, and performances at each edition, it has established itself as Korea's leading dinosaur-themed festival.

Busan Sea Festival

Summer means the sea, and the sea means the Busan Sea Festival! Marking its 30th anniversary, the 30th Busan Sea Festival is Busan's representative summer festival and will be held for a total of 7 days from August 7 to 13, 2026, at the Dadaepo Beach area. The programs set against the wide-open sea and sunset of Dadaepo are planned to create a sensory and energetic atmosphere. In particular, this year, in celebration of its meaningful 30th anniversary, it is planned as a 'locally cooperative festival' that highlights the passionate energy of Busan's young people and close collaboration with local businesses. At the evening opening ceremony on Friday, August 7, which opens the festival in grand style, the 'Dadaepo Fireworks Show' will take place, making full use of the overwhelming openness of Dadaepo Beach and bringing the start of the 7-day festival to a peak.

The 4th Dadaepo Sunset Film Festival

The Dadaepo Sunset Film Festival is a local film festival centered on Dadaepo Beach in Busan, which boasts a beautiful sunset.
