Gangneung National Heritage Night Walk

Gangneung National Heritage Night Walk is a program selected by the National Heritage Administration as a representative brand project for national heritage. Centered on streets dense with cultural heritage, it offers a variety of activities such as performances, hands-on experiences, and arts to increase the use of cultural heritage and promote preservation value through appreciation of its meaning and value. Gangneung City has joined the National Heritage Night Walk project of the National Heritage Administration since 2016. This year, Gangneung National Heritage Night Walk will unfold mainly around Gangneung Daedohobu Government Office, Seobu Market, and the Myeongju-dong area, with 8 night-themed programs prepared: night scenery, night road, night stories, night paintings, night talks, night food, night stay, and night market. Each program conveys the meaning and value of cultural heritage through distinctive content such as sights, food, and things to enjoy, and offers an opportunity to experience the history and culture of Gangneung City.
